A lone person looks out over a stormy sea toward a bright, beaming horizon in the distance. The waves in the foreground are ominous and rough but the sun is gleaming on the waters toward the horizon. I wanted to put the viewer in the shoes of the lone person and present the idea of hope through the clearing sky and bright sunrise on the horizon.
